The "Modem & Network Configurations" window allows you to set up AppleLink to talk to your modem. Each field allows you to control a particular part of AppleLink's modem configuration.
You cannot type into the fields which are surrounded by dotted lines; instead you click on the button to the left of the field and a new screen will appear which allows you to change the information for that field.
